About Kate Weighart
Kate has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years. She attended the Honolulu School of Massage in Hawai’i, and graduated in 1994. She also attended The Swedish Institute in NYC, which is the oldest massage school in the US. Following her graduation in New York, 1998, she acquired a double license in Shiatsu and Swedish Massage. In 1997 after studying under the renowned “God Mother” of Pre-Natal Massage, Carole Osborne-Sheets of San Diego, California, Kate earned a certification in Pre-Natal Massage.
Kate creates a safe, warm, and soothing environment while relaxing music is played in the background to further enhance the healing session. Every massage session is tailored to the needs of each individual person. “I love what I do and always enjoy learning more about my career. I believe that massage therapy has helped shape me into the person I am today.” Presently, Kate is continuing her education at The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC, and is studying Traditional Oriental Medicine.
